Daemen’s annual Springfest is always a campus favorite – a chance for students to unwind, celebrate the end of the semester, and get together as the academic year comes to a close. The 2025 event took it to the next level with a headlining performance by Plain White T’s, bringing their chart-topping hits and undeniable stage presence to a packed lawn full of students, alums, and staff.

From the first note, the crowd was hooked. Students belted out every lyric to ‘Hey There Delilah,’ ‘Rhythm of Love,’ and ‘1, 2, 3, 4,’ turning campus into a full-blown concert experience. People danced, sang, and swayed under the lights – a perfect mix of nostalgia, connection, and excitement to close out the year.

Before the show, Wildcat Media Team lead Kierstyn Klahn sat down with the band for a backstage interview. When asked what advice they’d give to students chasing their goals, lead singer Tom Higgenson shared, “Just don’t stop… if you really want to do it, just do it. Don’t let anybody tell you no.”

That message – simple, honest, and earned through experience – echoed through every song and moment of the night. Springfest 2025 capped off the academic year with unforgettable energy.
