The newly re-established Wildcat Media Team has set the stage for a successful first full year as the official student-led media team of Daemen University, wasting no time forming impactful partnerships across the campus.

Wildcat Media kicked off the fall 2023 semester by joining forces with the Hispanos y Latines Unidos (HLU) to celebrate Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month. The team also collaborated with The CHIP Center to host a two-day event, engaging the student body in writing affirmations in the lead up to final exams in December.

Other collaborations are in the works, including with the Black Student Union (BSU), a testament to the team’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration across diverse student groups.

Throughout the Spring 2023 semester, Wildcat Media underwent an extensive rebrand and found a new home under the university’s Department of Marketing & Communications. Staying true to its roots, the team remains a student-driven initiative as established in its original mission.

Wildcat Media saw significant growth throughout the semester, doubling in size since the Spring re-launch.
