Nedra J. Harrison, M.D., a surgeon with more than 30 years of experience and a member of the Rosary Hill College Class of 1973, was named to Phoenix Magazine’s Top Doctors list in 2011. Dr. Harrison practices in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was nominated to the Daemen Board of Trustees in 1993, and served until 2001.
Dr. Harrison received her M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1977. In addition to her eight years as a member of the Daemen Board, Dr. Harrison also served on the Board of Directors of Niagara Lutheran Health Systems, and the Visiting Nurses Association, where she was chair of the Medical Advisory Board. Among her many accolades are the American Medical Association’s Physicians Recognition Award and the Daemen College Distinguished Alumni Award. As a longstanding member of the Medical Society of the County of Erie during her practice in Buffalo, Dr. Harrison also served as president of the Society.
