Daemen College has launched a new, completely revamped Web site with enhanced features, dynamic content and a responsive design for a mobilefriendly experience to best meet the needs of visitors to the site.
The college’s new daemen.edu Web site includes a modernized design, updated navigation, increased multimedia use, a refined structure to better align with the needs of prospective and current students and other visitors to the site, refreshed content, an upgraded campus calendar, and an improved content management system to update the site.
Overseen by the college’s Office of Information Technology, the completed site is the culmination of an eight-month project to rebuild and redesign Daemen’s online presence and to make it adaptive for users on both mobile and non-mobile devices.
Site development and redesign were produced by Digital Wave, a Web and mobile application firm based in Philadelphia. A Web Site Task Force, comprised of representatives from administrative and academic units from across Daemen’s campus, contributed to the vision for overhauling the site.
“Essentially, we have completely transformed Daemen’s Web site into a new vibrant site that integrates strong visuals and audience-focused content with current technology features to ensure it is more accessible, user-friendly and informative for visitors,” said Kelly Duran, chief information officer, who led the project. “In the end, we have created a high-quality, distinctive site that greatly improves the visitor’s experience.”
