Tony Fulgenzio joins Daemen as Associate Vice President for Development

This spring, Daemen University welcomed Tony Fulgenzio, an accomplished fundraising professional with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, as associate vice president for development.

Fulgenzio oversees major gifts, annual giving, and alumni relations – and helps stage high-level special events.

Fulgenzio built a robust fundraising operation during his 17 years at Gannon University, where – as executive director of philanthropy and communications – he secured numerous six-figure gifts for the institution.

Alum Emily Kraft Hockwater Becomes New Director of Alumni Relations

In May, Daemen University alum Emily Kraft Hockwater ’16 returned to the institution as its new director of alumni relations.

Hockwater plans to host more events for alums and increase interaction with students and graduates.

Hockwater earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Daemen, majoring in history and minoring in public history and philosophy and religion. She also earned a Master of Arts in museum studies from Syracuse University and served as a gallery lecturer at the Syracuse University Art Galleries, as well as a docent at the Cayuga Museum of History & Art.
